I know a lot of people know how to make these and I'm sure they are better than mine. However I thought I would share mine with you. I purchased one of these for my baby and it was 13.00. After I examined it I thought I could make this for a lot cheaper. All I need is fabric, elastic, ribbon, quilting batting (the cheap stuff) and my trusty glue gun.... best part is its free because my mom already had all the fun stuff in her amazing craft room. ( Its a crafter's dream room)
Step 1: trace the wipe case on the fabric of choice and measure out the batting
step 2: hot glue the batting on both sides of the case
Step 3: hot glue the edges of the fabric to the sides of the case. Make sure it is a snug fit.
Do this to both sides.
Step 4: Add the elastic to the back of the case to help hold a diaper or two.
Step 5: hot glue the ribbon around the edges to hide the rough edges of the fabric. Go slowly and occasionally open the case to make sure you aren't hot gluing it shut (not that I've done that... uh hum )
And you are done!
click HERE to see the first case I ever did. I didn't put the batting on it and it still works but it looks and feels better with it.
